DENMARK: Free Danish language courses now require a refundable deposit.

All newcomers with a CPR number are entitled to free Danish lessons.

Although the lessons will remain still free, as of 1 July 2017 employees and family members need to pay a deposit of DKK 1,250 that will be returned upon completion of their exams.

How does this affect the client?

Employees interested in learning Danish should take the deposit costs into consideration when registering for the language course.
