GHANA: Enforcement of annual report or audited accounts requirement for Work and Residence Permits

The Ghana Immigration Services has begun enforcing the requirement to submit an annual report or audited accounts of the previous year for Work and Residence Permit applications. This requirement has always been in place but it was never strictly enforced. The annual reports or audited accounts of the previous year should usually be available on record as it is common practice for companies to have their financial accounts audited by an independent auditor.

How does this affect the client?

Employers should ensure to have an annual report or audited accounts of the previous year at the time of submitting Work and Residence Permits applications.
