GUATEMALA: Eased document legalisation policy

Effective immediately, foreign documents that need to be submitted to the authorities in Guatemala no longer require consular legalization. Instead, legalization with apostille is accepted.

How does this affect the client?

Foreign nationals from the Hague Convention countries can now benefit from an easier immigration process as apostilles can often be obtained faster and easier than consular legalization.
