SAUDI ARABIA: Visitor Visa restrictions

New restrictions apply to nationals from certain countries who apply for a Saudi Visitor Visa in Dubai.  Nationals from Australia, Canada, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa and Ukraine will experience shorter visa duration and restricted stays.

Citizens of Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa and Ukraine are only eligible for a single-entry Saudi Visitor Visa. The visa will be valid for 90 days with a maximum total stay of up to 30 days.

Canadian citizens are eligible for single-and multiple entry visas with a maximum length of 180 days and the total duration of stay is of maximum 30 days.

Citizens of India are eligible for a single-and multiple entry visas with a validity of two years. In case the visa was issued with a validity of 90 days, the maximum duration of stay allowed is 30 days.

How does this affect the client?

It is advisable to consider the new allowable stay when planning business activities.
