SINGAPORE: Additional information required for Employment Pass Applications

Effective immediately, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requests additional recruitment-related information for all Employment Pass (EP) applications.

The following information should be provided by employers when submitting EP applications:

  • Was the job advertised in the Jobs Bank?
  • Where other than the Jobs Bank recruitment channels used to search for candidates?
  • What is the number of citizens, permanent residents and foreign nationals who applied for the job, and what are the stages they reached in the recruitment process?
  • What are the reasons why the company is still applying for the EP if Singaporeans have already applied or were interviewed for the position?

How does this affect the client?

In order to answer these additional questions, employers need to implement procedures that will help them to track the necessary information about their hiring and recruitment process.
