IRELAND: New International School accepting admission applications for 2018/2019

A new international school in Ireland - The Nord Anglia International school in Dublin - is now accepting admissions for the 2018/2019 academic year in preparation for the opening in September 2018. The school has connections with the world renowned Julliard School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology both from the United States.

The school which is located 8km from Dublin centre will accept online admissions and there will be no cost associated with the application. The total number of students will reach up to 800.

The school will initially cater to children aged between 3 and 15 utilising the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) and IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). The following academic year they are also hoping to introduce education for those aged between 16 and 18 years with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

Class size will be 20 per class for early years and then 22 for primary and secondary school aged children. The school intends to make significant investments to ensure the quality of the teaching and facilities are at world class standard.

How does this affect the client?

Employers with foreign nationals expatriating to Ireland in 2018 should notify them of the opportunity to apply to The Nord Anglia International School if they are relocating with children. This addition to the schooling system in Ireland can further increase interest in the region for foreign nationals with families.
