LUXEMBOURG: International school to teach European baccalaureate

The International School of Differdange has been given the go-ahead to put its pupils through the European baccalaureate.

This means that the International School of Differdange has the right to prepare its pupils for the European Baccalaureate -- an approval which was granted for a three-year term.

The school opened its doors for the first time in September last year and currently consists of 161 pupils with 32 different nationalities.

Earlier this month the Government Council decided to expand the school's services and introduce nursery classes, vocational training, a German-speaking section and a new annex in Esch-sur-Alzette following an increasing demand for the three language sections, English, French and German.
